Firmness is determined by compression, not density. To avoid a cushion that is too hard or a mattress that sinks when you sit on it, always check the compression or ILD number. When opening the package, it is recommended to use a ballpoint pen or pencil instead of a box cutter to avoid damaging the foam. The mattress is durable and built to last 7 to 10 years, with high-quality compression and materials that can withstand heavy weight without losing shape.
