Our foams, made in the USA, have a compression rate of 44 lbs for 1.8 medium density foam. This means that for every 44 lbs of weight applied, the foam will compress by 1 inch. Medium density foam is perfect for those who prefer a firm feeling and do not want to sink into their couch. With a 100% recovery rate, this foam is highly durable and suitable for long-term use. Each foam sheet is sold per sheet and rolled for packaging, not per yard. When you receive your foam package, be sure to open it immediately. Avoid letting the foam sit unopened for longer than 1 week. Use a ballpoint pen or pencil, not a box cutter, to open the package. Start with a small incision and break it from there. This foam will last 7 to 10 years. For care instructions, allow the foam to breathe for at least 2 days after unpacking to recover its original size and shape. Ideal uses for this medium density foam include mattresses, chair pads, seat cushions, pillows, furniture cushions, car seats, and more. There is a 50% restocking fee on returned items. This 1.8 medium density foam is recommended for oval and round poker tables, boat cushions, car cushions, foam mattresses, bedding support, and various home and commercial upholstery applications.
