Our foams, made in the USA, have a compression rate of 44 lbs for 1.8 medium density foam. This means that for every 44 lbs of pressure, the foam will compress by 1 inch. Medium density foam is specifically designed to provide a firm feeling for individuals who prefer not to sink into their couches.

With a 100% recovery rate and excellent durability, medium density foam is suitable for long-term use. Each foam sheet is sold per sheet, not per yard, and is rolled for easy packaging. It is important to open foam packages immediately upon receipt and not let them sit unopened for more than 1 week. Avoid using a box cutter to open the package, and instead, use a ballpoint pen or pencil to make a small incision and break it from there.

The durability of medium density foam ensures it will last 7 to 10 years with proper care. When unpacking, allow the foam to breathe for at least 2 days to recover its original size and shape. Ideal uses for foam include mattresses, chair pads, seat cushions, furniture cushions, pillows, car seats, and upholstery repairs.
